General Shipping S.A ,has recently completed the performance of crucial /demanding works on vessel Ro/Ro ''Hoegh London'' in Piraeus Area.
A numerous of various operations both handled and successfully completed by our well trained & specialized workmanship during vessel's repairing period in Piraeus area. (See indicative photos by clicking on tab ''Expertise areas /Docking-Specialized works'').
Having the Know-how on subject works and taking into account our commitment in relation to the Quality Policy that we strictly follow at any kind of works we undertake (see our Company's policy by clicking on tab ''certifications''), we proceeded to the immediate maneuvering /handling and off-loading of the affected cargo from the vessel to the pier by using our Heavy duty equipment and machines i.e forklifts,bobcats,trucks,cranes (Terex) etc.
Completing aforementioned works we appropriate cleaned all the entire affected areas of the ship by fresh water washing etc , in the meantime our experts carried out steel renewal hot works (where required).
At the final stage we also carried out the maneuvering,re-lashing,securing ,cleaning of the affected cargoes ,already placed on pier, in order to achieve the re-loading of them back to the ship in a safe /effective way by using our cranes,forklifts equipment and so on.
All above described works performed in a safe and limited repairing time period.
